New research in the UK how shown the happiness and confidence of 16- to 25-year-olds has hit new lows due to the cost of living crisis, low wages and Covid.

With the highest University fees in Europe, rents increasing by 9% nationally at the end of 2021 and minimum unit pricing on alcohol, Cailum, a student in UCD and News Reporter with the Irish Independent, Ciara O’Loughlin joined Kieran to explain the difficulties facing young people here in Ireland.
