NHS staff in the UK are set to receive a 1% pay rise but is it enough and what needs to happen here as many nurses are leaving the profession?

It comes after the nurse who cared for British Prime Minister Boris Johnson in intensive care when he contracted Covid-19 resigned criticising the government's handling of the deadly pandemic.

Anne Noonan, who works in University Hospital Limerick and Professor Anthony O’Connor of Tallaght University Hospital joined Kieran on the Hard Shoulder to discuss.
