We are at risk of becoming the most disconnected country in Europe and our tourism industry can’t afford more delays if we maintain the current approach to covid-19 testing. The solution is accepting antigen testing for travel.

That’s according to our next guest Gerard Craughwell, independent senator - and it comes as the Oireachtas Transport committee looks at the issue today.

We’re also joined by Dr. Niamh Power, an airline pilot, who in November set up V1 medical close to Dublin and Cork airports to do rapid antigen testing close to Dublin and Cork Airports - Niamh spoke to the Oireachtas committee today.
