Wexford Independent TD Verona Murphy has told the Dáil today, “if I have one homeless child in Wexford, that isn’t accommodated, I’ll be bringing it here and it’ll be sitting in the Ceann Comhairle's lap.”
This comes the day after the Government won a Dáil vote opposing Sinn Féin's motion to extend the eviction ban.
