Should Trinity Change Its Graduation Tradition?

Students at Trinity College Dublin have said that the college’s graduation ceremony is “humiliating” and “horrendous”.

The students are called to graduate in order of highest grade to lowest grade.

Lynn Ruane says the system is ‘degrading’ and needs to changed. Others argue that it’s only fair to celebrate academic achievement in this way.

Ivan is joined by Harry McCann, founder of trendsetter.ie and Ed Walsh, founding president of University of Limerick to discuss.
