Thousands of mica-affected homeowners protest in Dublin

Thousands of people gathered in Dublin today for a protest in support of a 100% redress scheme for homes and other buildings affected by blocks defective due to mica.

The protest assembled at the Convention Centre, where the Dáil is sitting, before marching to Leinster House this afternoon.

There were people from Clare, Limerick, Sligo and Mayo. While the majority of the crowd were from Co Donegal.
