Seeing a band or musician that you love is supposed to be a great experience, watching them perform your favourite tracks while you're with friends or family.

However, has a gig ever been ruined by people deciding now is the time to have a heart-to-heart or a long-winded update on a tricky situation with work?

Kelly-Anne Byrne, presenter of The Beat Goes On on Today FM tweeted after being at an event over the weekend: "Ireland I love u but you need 2 stop talking at gigs, 3 times tonight I told people to stop talking, I've no problem telling people to shut up but I don't like losing my temper, the gig is about the musician, not you & your bad wk at work/pathetic tinder dates, have some respect".

Kelly-Anne joined musician Jerry Fish on the show to find out whether this is a uniquely Irish thing, and if it's getting worse.
