The Department of Health has confirmed that Deputy Chief Medical Officer Dr Ronan Glynn has resigned. He is expected to leave his post at the end of the month and take up a role with consultancy firm EY later this year.

Priscilla Lynch Clinical Editor of the Medical Independent joined Anton and Anthony Staines Professor of Health Systems at DCU to discuss his departure and his time with the department.
