The Car Rental Council of Ireland has called for an 80% reduction in whiplash payouts. 

They say it would bring our compensation more inline with our European counterparts. 

It comes as the Judicial Council is set to review personal injury award guidelines next month. 

But is a set reduction fair? Stuart Gilhooly is a litigation solicitor and former President of the Law Society of Ireland, and Kieran was also joined by Moyagh Murdoch, the CEO if Insurance Ireland.
