Should Ireland ban burning of all solid fuels?

Ireland’s air quality is not good enough. That’s according to the World Health Organisation who said that the quality of Irish air is just below the standard of the organisation.   One of the ways suggested to promote cleaner air is to introduce more sustainable ways to heat our homes and to stop burning of solid fuels but is that practical - can we actually ban fires in our homes?   Kieran was joined by John Sodeau Emeritus Professor of Chemistry at UCC and Seamus Boland CEO of Irish Rural Link to discuss...
