Next month sees the anniversary of the assassination of notorious Dublin criminal, 'The General' Martin Cahill in Ranelagh, .  His exploits and crimes inspired the films The General and Ordinary Decent Criminal. His life story has fascinated many and he still attracts interest in the public imagination and popular culture.
