Today the National Transport Authority (NTA) and Transport Infrastructure Ireland (TII) announcing details of the 'Preferred Route' for MetroLink.

The new plan appears to have addressed the objections of local residents on both the North and South sides of the original route but what are the logistics of the project, who will it benefit most, and how do the changes affect the long-term vision of the Transport Strategy for the Greater Dublin Area?
