The Taoiseach and Health Minister are currently reviewing the report into the report by Robert Watt, secretary general at the Department of Health, into the abandoned move of the outgoing Chief Medical Officer to Trinity College Dublin.
The report says that the Health Minister did not need to know about the CMO's secondment.
