On Saturday October 10th 2015 - five years ago - a Carrickmines halting site was swept by a blazing fire.

It was the deadliest fire in Ireland since Stardust - claiming a total of ten victims, five adults and five children including five-month-old baby.

It not only had an effect on that community and wider society then, but the effects are felt today

To discuss and reflect, Kieran was joined on Friday's edition of The Hard Shoulder by Martin Collins, co-director at Pavee Point, and Father Dermot Lane, Retired Parish priest in Balally.
