As pubs that do not serve any food await the greenlight to open, it is expected that Fáilte Ireland will publish its recommended safety guidelines for these establishments later in the week.

One of the things that is being highlighted by publicans ahead of these, is the notion of sitting up at the bar- and how it is important, especially for rural pubs.

Well one such pub that remains shut is also operated by the incoming president of the Vintners Federation of Ireland, Paul Moynihan of Moynihan’s Bar in Donard, Co Wicklow.

He joined Mark on Wednesday's edition of the Hard Shoulder.
