Private schools have sent more students to third level education this year - that’s according to the annual Irish Times Feeder Schools list. 

Once again the socio-economic background seems to be giving children a head start - maybe this comes as no surprise, surely if you have the means to send your child to a fee-paying school, then why not? 

But what can you get out of a private school - is it really better than publicly funded schools?

Arthur Godsil, Director of Godsil Education and former principal of St. Andrew's College, joined Ivan to discuss this.
