Shane Hannon, assistant producer on Off the Ball, is a self-titled space nerd.

His lifelong obsession has left him with an encyclopedic knowledge of the Apollo missions and space research.

He spoke to Ivan about what this 50th anniversary of the moon landing truly means, saying it's the most "philosophically, historically and scientifically significant moment in the 21st century".

Here he explains to Ivan who the astronauts were, why this was such a significant achievement and how he's come to meet six of the 12 astronauts who walked on the moon.
