With a career spanning 40 years in the world of obstetrics, Ivan's guest for this week's 'Thursday Interview' may well be better known as one of the faces of the movement to Repeal the Eighth Amendment.

Growing up in a middle class home in Rathgar, and after choosing a career in medicine over law, Peter Boylan had a career which involved being the Master of the National Maternity Hospital, and helping to move that institution into a more modern era.

Ivan was delighted to get the opportunity to get to know the author of 'In The Shadow of the Eighth' a little bit better.
