We are continuing our deep dive into some of the aspects of the proposed program for government and today we want to discuss water- namely public drinking water. It’s the norm in many other countries but can be a rare sight in Ireland.
The program for government commits to developing: “a scheme between local authorities and Irish Water to provide drinking water fountains nationwide to reduce plastic bottle litter.”
So is this needed and how best could it be introduced?
