New co-living developments are to be effectively banned.

After a departmental report into the issue, the Minister for Housing, Local Government and Heritage Darragh O’Brien, has decided to amend planning guidelines to restrict all future commercial co-living activity.

Existing developments are not affected, nor those in the planning process.

Minister Darragh O'Brien joined Kieran on Monday's edition of The Hard Shoulder to tell him why.
