Maurice and Lorraine McCabe were an ordinary couple raising their family of five children in rural Cavan.

Maurice was a Sergeant in Bailieborough Garda Station, and in 2008 he started to raise concerns about standards of policing.

What followed was an almost unbelievable series of official investigations and even a Tribunal, involving the highest echelons of politics and the force.

This week, Maurice and Lorraine sat down with Ivan to reflect on their experiences, how they coped with the stresses and anxieties, and moving on to resume a normal life today.

Take a listen to this extended, exclusive interview with Ivan Yates.
