Ofcom received  25,000 complaints over Friday night’s episode of popular reality tv show, Love Island. Viewers of the show have been turning to the media regulator more than ever this year to complain about the show. 

With people becoming more aware of the mental health consequences of these shows for contestants, does this signal the end of reality TV?
