Hundreds of students turned out for a protest in Dublin this afternoon over what they say is the extortionate cost of third-level education here.

This was the second of a trio of student protests which are taking place this week.

The first protest was held in Cork City yesterday, the second here in Dublin outside Leinster House today, while the third student protest will be at the Spanish Arch in Galway City tomorrow.
