Could the remaining pubs around the country remain shut for the foreseeable?

That remains a possibility, in light of some well-publicised incidents of people crowding into Dublin city centre's streets with drink over the weekend.

But those that may be more dramatically affected by closures or curtailing of crowds include rural pubs.

Joining Ivan on this evening's edition of the Hard Shoulder were two publicans from rural Ireland to talk to us about their futures.  They were Paul Moynihan, of Moynihan’s Bar in Donard, Co Wicklow, and John Clendennen, Giltraps Townhouse and Glamping in Kinnity.
