Over the next few Wednesday’s we are going to take an in-depth look at some of the most pressing issues likely to face the country over the coming months.

On this occasion, we are going to focus on Housing and the challenges the Government will face to deal with the housing crisis that sees over 10,000 adults and children in emergency accommodation, so where is Rebuilding Ireland at and is it the solution to our housing issues, what can be done about the erratic rental market and where do we stand with supply and demand?

Joining Ivan was Damien English, Minister of State at the Department of Housing, Planning and Local Government with special responsibility for Housing and Urban Development and Fine Gael TD for Meath West; Darragh O’Brien Fianna Fáil Spokesperson on Housing, Planning & Local Government and TD for Dublin Fingal and Jan O’Sullivan, Labour Party Spokesperson on Housing & Local Government and TD for Limerick City.

What exactly are the politicians doing about the housing crisis?
