There are growing concerns that restaurants and cafés may now be faced with soaring premiums.

It’s after business owners were told that three leading insurers may not be offering renewals for 2020.

It comes just days after it emerged up to 1,300 childcare providers were hit by soaring insurance premiums after underwriter Ironshore withdrew from the market.

Eoin McCambridge, managing director of McCambridge's food hall, deli and restaurant on Shop Street in Galway, told Ivan why he believes the Government needs to step in.
