Now Saturday will mark one year since the minister for Children Roderic O’Gorman published the government’s white paper on ending Direct Provision – but has anything meaningful happened since it’s publication? 

Kieran was joined by Nick Henderson CEO of the Irish Refugee Council, Bulelani Mfaco, spokesman for the Movement of Asylum Seekers in Ireland and lives in Knockalisheen Direct Provision Centre in Clare.
