Patrick Hutch left court a free man today after all charges against him in relation to the murder of David Byrne were dropped.

The 26-year-old denied being part of a hit on Mr. Byrne at the Regency Hotel in February 2016.

A decision not to pursue the case against him was made in light of the tragic death of the lead investigator this time last year.

Crime journalist Paul Williams joined Ivan to discuss the collapse of the trial.
