After months of closure, the restaurant industry is finally set to reopen, starting with indoor dining for overnight guests in hotels and tourist accommodation on the 2nd of June. 

A few days later, cafes and restaurants will be able to open their outdoor area, but not indoor dining. This discrepancy, and the lack of certainty on their full reopening date, is leaving some business owners with staffing issues, such as Paul Treyvaud, owner of Treyvauds Restaurant in Killarney.
