The government will decide next Thursday whether to continue with the next stage of our reopening including indoor dining due to come in on July 5th. However, concerns have been raised due to the Delta variant which the European Centre for Disease Prevention and Control has estimated will account for 90% of all Covid cases in the EU by the end of August. Eamon Ryan Minister for the Environment, Climate and Communications and Minister for Transport spoke to us this morning on the show.
