It has been described as a ‘budget of green recovery’ with €286.5m for retrofit activity and €1.8bn announced for sustainable transport. Increases in carbon tax however has led to criticism with some saying the vulnerable will be the worst hit. For reaction we heard from Green Party leader and Minister for Environment, Climate and Communications, Eamon Ryan.
