France's foreign minister Jean-Noël Barrot has requested an emergency meeting of the UN Security Council following "the extremely serious incidents" targeting peacekeepers in Lebanon that killed three Indonesian nationals, raising urgent questions about the safety of Irish troops stationed at Camp Shamrock.
