Schools throughout Ireland will hold a minute's silence for Ashling Murphy this morning. It's taking place at 11 o'clock - when her funeral Mass starts in Mountbolus in Co Offaly. The 23-year-old was killed while running along the Grand Canal near Tullamore last Wednesday. Ciara was joined this morning by Paddy Buckley, Family friend and Chairperson of Ms. Murphy’s local Ballyboy Comhaltas Ceoltóirí Éireann and Barry Cowan Fianna Fail TD for Laois Offaly.
