John Delaney has said the loan he provided to the FAI was in the best interests of Irish football and he regrets the embarrassment it has caused.  

The former FAI CEO is refusing to comment further on the 2017 payment, saying he's constrained due to legal advice. 

But what is the Kearns judgement? To explain we were joined by Dr Tom Hickey, Assistant professor in Constitutional Law at DCU.

We were also joined by Michael Healy Rae, Independent TD for Kerry  and David Duffy, Founder and CEO of The Governnance Company to review the Oireachtas Committee hearing.
