Councillors in Athlone have overwhelmingly agreed to revive the traditional practice of starting council meetings with a prayer. 

Louise Heavin, Green Party councillor for Westmeath County Council, the only opponent to this measure and John Dolan, Fine Gael councillor for Westmeath County Council, who supported the reintroduction, joined us to debate the new measure.
