A new report by the Irish Institutional Property outlines that close to 50,000 homes will be needed every year until at least mid-century if Ireland is to have a substantial housing market. With most of these houses needed in urban areas are we capable of meeting this demand with a growing population that is expected to reach 6.5 million by 2050? Ronan Lyons Economist at Trinity College and author of the Report spoke to us this morning with more details from these findings.
