There have been calls for the Short Hop Zone fares to be extended. Our Newstalk survey has found people want increased investment in public transport and reduced fuel costs.
To compare public transport with the private car our reporter Josh Crosbie joined a commuter who travels from Newbridge to Dublin city centre by car.
