At a parliamentary party meeting last night, Tánaiste Leo Varadkar said the Government will next week outline plans to phase out pandemic welfare supports from October onwards. Is this the right time to wind it down or should it have been gone a long time ago?  To discuss this we were joined this morning by  Sinn Féin spokesperson on Public Expenditure and Reform, Mairead Farrell TD  and public affairs consultant, Sunday Times columnist and former Senior Political Adviser, Gerard Howlin.
