Is enough being done to improve the nighttime economy?

Nightclubs and late bars will be able to avail of grants of up to €70,000 for soundproofing to combat the problem of noise in residential areas. This was among a number of measures announced by Minister for Tourism, Culture, Arts, Gaeltacht, Sport and Media Catherine Martin. In reaction to this we spoke to Ian Redmond, Shareholder with Hyde Dublin and former Owner of the Tramline Nightclub.
