A further 51 deaths have been announced due to Coronavirus while another 2,608 new cases of the virus have been confirmed. It comes as NPHET warn that up to 1,000 people could die from the virus in January. Meanwhile EU leaders are understood to be considering a ban on non-essential travel within the EU bloc.
