Ireland's Hospital's Are Now "Beyond Strain"

HSE chief executive Paul Reid has described the situation in Ireland’s hospitals is “now beyond strain.” Last night there were 1,582 Covid-19 patients in hospital while the number of people in intensive care is up by 21 to 146, just 9 short of the record set in the first wave.  Dr Vida Hamilton is the HSE’s National Clinical Adviser for acute hospitals joined us this morning to tell us what kind of position are our hospitals in this morning.
