A Co. Meath grandmother is in limbo after suffering a stroke earlier this year. Kitty Galligan remains in a step-down facility in Co. Louth, even though doctors gave her the all-clear to return home two months ago.

The 81 year-old was allocated 7 and a half home care hours, but the funding hasn’t been released to give effect to the support package. Newstalk reporter Aideen Finnegan traveled to meet with Kitty’s family and find out what’s going on.
