Cork city councillor for Fine Gael Joe Kavanagh has been criticised for remarking that his constituents are angry and distressed over plans to develop 54 new social houses in Montenotte, claiming that a previously approved private housing development would be more appropriate.

Cork City Councillor for Fianna Fáil Ken O’Flynn, who has been critical of Councillor Kavanagh's remarks, joined the Fine Gael councillor and Kieran Cuddihy on the show this morning to discuss the issue.
