calls have been made to speed up Seanad voting reform legislation ahead of the next general election Tomás Heneghan, a University of Limerick graduate, achieved a landmark Supreme Court victory in March this year when he successfully challenging the constitutionality of only allowing Trinity College Dublin (TCD) and National University of Ireland (NUI) graduates to vote in Seanad elections. He’s now calling on the government to expedite this Seanad reform ahead of the upcoming general election and Tomás explained where are we at with this.
