The Government must bring forward plans to link unemployment benefits to previous pay levels.  That’s the call from the Irish Congress of Trade Unions who want the current flat-rate Jobseeker’s Benefits system to be scrapped. Michael Taft is an Economic Researcher for SIPTU and he joined Ciara on the show this morning with more on this.
