Earlier this week there was a petition opposing the BBC’s decision to axe free TV licences for the over-75s has reached half a million signatures.  

It got us thinking about whether Irish pensioners get too many allowances? 

 Seamus Boland, CEO of Irish Rural Link and Eamon Delaney, Author and Journalist have two differing opinions on this.
