While there has been a increase in the amount of prosecutions for wildlife crimes in the state.

These prosecutions have been spread unevenly across, counties with some suggesting that crimes against wildlife may be occurring without prosecution

But what is a wildlife crime? How can we combat it? And do we need a dedicated wildlife crime unit?
