We’re used to the idea of American or Australian tourists coming here to trace their lineage, but do we really know where our own line comes from, and how far back can you trace an Irish name?

The television series Sloinne, which airs at 8.30 on TG4 on Sunday night follows seven guest hosts as they attempt to answer these questions.
