Back in the days before streaming, it was completely normal and expected that you would own copies of your favourite songs and albums.

With the likes of Spotify that’s no longer the case. Now we merely pay for the privilege of listening to someone else’s collection.

So, what happens if a song is taken down from those services? Does it simply cease to be?
