The Minister for Public Expenditure Michael McGrath has said 10 days of annual leave across the public sector, as a thank you for the hard work staff put in during the Covid 19 pandemic would cost €1 Billion. Henry McKean met frontline workers and the public and asked should they get a cash bonus or time off? Should we extend it to the private sector too, including retailers?
